At Epic over the past few weeks, we have been highlighting some of our favorite on island vendors and this week we want to focus on one of our favorite off-island vendors. World-renowned stationary artist and so much more, Ceci New York.

Meet Ceci

Ceci Johnson and her amazing team have been an integral part of some of our greatest events. We have brought to them the wildest ideas and they have done their magic and delivered beyond what our clients could have ever expected. We love to work with Ceci and the Ceci New York team to create a look and feel that starts when guests receive their Save the Dates, and moves all the way to the thank you cards after the event is over. This includes customized invitations, creative escort cards, menus, bar designs, dance floor designs, ceremony programs, drink, and dinner menus, and branded welcome bags. What, or how much we do, depends on the client. Some want to go over the top on the branding of their event, and others want something low key. Ceci and her team can handle it, whatever it may be.

Custom Stationary for your Wedding, is a Must

Remember that the Save the Date is the very first impression that your guests are getting of what is to come. It sets the tone. It is then followed by the invitation and the opportunity to further solidify your vision. Additionally, if you are a Destination Wedding planner it is the first, or one of the first, things that is delivered to your client. As a destination wedding planner, I choose vendors that are going to be the best in their field. Additionally, vendors that are a fit for what the client is looking for. A client recently remarked, “ We just received our invites and we are blown away, the packaging before we even opened them had us so excited. Ceci and her team are above anyone else”.

There are a number of ways you can access Ceci’s invitation designs. Ceci and the team also do branding and assist companies in growing in an ever more difficult events market. Ceci calls it “Design without borders”. They service clients all over the world. NO matter where you are based, you can work with Ceci and her team. On a personal note, Ceci has been someone who I admire in business and as a Mom. I am not sure how she does what she does, but it is inspiring.

Additionally, under the current circumstances, she is mastering the “pivot”. She has decided to take herself and family south for the winter. Creating Ceci Palm Beach. We are wishing her and her team the best, and we know the best is yet to come.

Examples of Ceci’s Work

Here are a few pictures from an event that Ceci branded for us. For this event, we installed 26 chandeliers. For the escort card installation, we had a 7-foot-wide chandelier that we hung at eye level.

Ceci created gold mirrored lasered chandelier pieces that hung from the chandelier, they had everyone’s name and table number put into calligraphy on them and we had escort card assistants that handled helping guests receive them. When I went to Ceci with my chandelier idea I knew I wanted guests to feel immersed into the crystals—we came up with this and it far exceeded the impact we had anticipated.

For this event her team handled the invites, the escort chandelier pieces, the ceremony programs, all of the menus, table numbers, drink cards, any and all signage that was needed, monogram, and then the thank you cards.
