The Jordan Kahn Orchestra or “JKO” is making us feel like the roaring twenties are just around the corner.
I was fortunate enough to be invited out to Dallas for a showcase of five of the bands that have been put together by the Jordan Kahn entertainment group.
The Experience felt like a rebirth and right at the perfect time. Event inquiries were trickling in and then in the last few it has been more of a flood. We are still moving some dates and navigating the new normal of testing, on-site rapid tests, before you travel test, during your travel tests, using a travel portal, and on and on.
The Showcase that took place was so incredibly fun and it felt somehow kind of normal but not normal. JKO invited a bunch of planners to the Ritz Carlton Dallas for a night of fun and it did not disappoint.

The Lounge
Now, let’s talk about the lounge layout in the ballroom. It was to die for. See the pictures below.

When the doors opened it was time to experience what they had to offer.
Creating combinations of music throughout your event is a key to creating not just an event but an experience. The importance of the music is monumental as it transitions everyone from space to space and brings about the continuity of the event.
We are also in the day of experiential music interludes. Vignettes of entertainment.
Back to Dallas. Let’s talk grilled cheese afterparty. I believe I had the most decadent grilled cheese of my life and I don’t regret one single bite.
To say I have been wowed by Jordan and the Jordan Kahn music experience would be selling it short. From the marketing standpoint, it was genius. I immediately recommended them to clients. I had done so before but now it will be with a bit more confidence.
I cannot thank Abby and Sam from the JKO team for making it flawless and well, Epic. Jordan for his killer pipes, easy-going attitude, and great taste in food… and of course music.
