We were honored to speak with JoAnn Gregoli, owner of Elegant Occasions, and hear from her on her heroic work to help people during the pandemic.

TLDR; JoAnn and Jenn made the decision not to slow down during the pandemic, instead, they sped up, created new ventures, and forged new paths. JoAnn, being a communications and PR major in college, knew the importance of staying relevant and in front of people in order to stay in the game. Jenn took the risk and invested more into a company when the rest of the world was “pausing”. Both entrepreneurs are now as busy as ever (whether that be with their nonprofits, helping others who need business advice, or getting back into events) and have great hope for things to continue to turn around for the better.

The top two tips and takeaways from the discussion?

1.) Failure is not an option, you need to have a strong mindset and just keep going. “Do” more than “Think”. Just go.

2.) Take care of yourself. Do not be scared to indulge in self-care when things are tough.
